So what’s your favorite food? Tell me what you like to eat, where you like to eat, places you like to hang out at. It doesn’t have to be just one. I’m a huge foodie and love to talk about food and travel and use the web to look for new places to eat and for new recipes or variations or ideas on existing recipes. What do you use? Websites? Newspapers? Magazines? Apps? TV and Radio?
For instance, I love to cook, and my one favorite food (if I had to pick) is SUSHI! I can live off just that for the rest of my life! Something about food in general just seems to make me smile, especially Japanese and all asian food. Although I have my favorite places, I’m always on the lookout for new places to eat. And when I’m looking, I use a variation of things. The first one I usually look at is yelp.com. It is user rated, meaning people like you and I are on there reviewing places that we eat at. It’s a 5 star system and I usually find it to be trustworthy. Well at least it hasn’t done me wrong yet. I also use citysearch.com, zagat.com and hiddenlosangeles.com, usually any one of those sites will be get me by. Yelp even has an app for smartphones. Not sure about the other ones though. I also like to read OC Weekly for restaurant revies, and I loooooove the Travel Channel and Food Network. Those are always great sources because you can actually see what’s cooking and how it’s made.
The thing I love most about food is how it brings people together and maybe there are some other foodies in this class too! My motto is: LET’S EAT!
